Baltimore. The Wire gives it such a bad rap. Sure you're playing bad block good block when you're there, but dammit I love that city. Grew up going there every weekend to Little Italy with my folks. And then when I got old enough, getting taken OUT by my mom and dad first to Charles Street (cause my dad is in LOVE with the marble bar at The Brass Elephant) and then later to Federal Hill.......yup my parents were the oldest people in there, and were just as wasted LOL (having your dad ask you "Is this guy bothering you" when some sketchy guy is hitting on you and sketchy guy thinks your dad is your boyfriend........HILARIOUS)

And then, my beloved city, Frederick, MD. Everyone calls us "Frednecks" but come visit downtown Frederick sometime and you will find AMAZING restaurants, fun nightlife, cute shops/antiques, and VERY trendy, artsy, culturally minded young folks.

Outside the US--Abbottsford, BC, Canada... Go to the Orange Spa--provides all the spa services you can imagine...

The city of Hawi, Big Island, Hawai'i... It does not have the creature comforts of the large IGAs and ABC stores, but has all kinds antique shops and nestled eateries.

The last little place I have been that is underrated is Bar Harbor, Maine during October/November. The major industries shutdown for the summer, but it still has flavors we had not anticipated.

I've lived on Oahu all my life and I've only been to Hawi once, and that was last year. One of my pledge sisters lives there now.

They get tourists going in and out every day, but they still manage to keep that sleepy town kind of feeling.

Last year we attended the Kohala Street Fair and someone made some joke mugs of the "University of Hawi" to sell as their HS Fundraiser...

I guess the main highway goes through there, I forget the marker number--20? IDK?

I *think* it's 22.

Kohala's the kind of place I pray doesn't change too much.
