Aren't you Hispanic?
I realize the connection to the apt complex probably makes that Zenaida unique, but Zenaida isn't an unusual Hispanic name, and Fernandez-Gonzalez may as well be Smith-Jones.

Yeah..i'm Mexican(-American). I'm not sure how common Zenaida is, i've never met one. I do know that if I was to make up a Hispanic name, for a fake person, it wouldn't be Zenaida. It would be Rosa or Maria, something that is harder to trace back to a specific person.
But my whole point was that there was ONE Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez that has a connection to Casey Anthony's apt. complex. Yet Casey said it isn't the same Zenaida. If you claim you left your daughter w/ Zenaida the babysitter at such-and-such apts, yet you claim the ONLY Zenaida that was ever at those apts is the wrong one. Yeah, there is something wrong there.

I totally agree. I'm hispanic too, and grew up in S. Texas. I've never in my entire existance ever heard the name "Zenaida"
Like you, if I were trying to make up a hispanic sounding name I would have used Rosa or Maria or something like that.

My Sister-in-Law (one of them) is a Zenaida. My mother in law is NOT one for unique names.

Is she of central American heritage?
I am with T*P and epchick... living most of my life in Dallas, and working in a hospital where close to half of the patients were Hispanic (of Mexican heritage) I can't recall a single Zenaida ever.

I'm thinking that the name Zenaida might be more common among Cubans and Puerto Ricans, since I recall the FL police saying they had found a lot of "Zenaida"s in FL. If that's the case maybe that is why Casey said the name Zenaida, thinking it was a more popular name.
Although i'd still go with Maria. Its ridiculous how many Marias.
