I work for a tech company. We have a NOC (network operations center) that is staffed 24/7, so employees can be here whenever they want (or need to be). We have a hand-scanner and proxi reader at the front door and various levels of access to the rest of the building, but your access doesn't change based on time of day.
My usual work hours are 8-5, but I can come in early to get work done if I have to be gone during the normal work day so I don't have to take PTO time. As long as the work gets done, it's pretty flexible.
