Depends on the building. My hours reverted back to 8 to 4:30, but the building is open to workers at 6 am until midnight. Check with the supervisor.

I work for an insurance company, and you have to swipe in with your ID badge to get into the employee parking lot, and to get into the building, and you can do that 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The general working hours for a lot of the claims people are 8a-5p, but the people in my office (the law office) are generally here at all hours all days.

My husband's office is similar (large engineering company). He can go to work at 2:30 am if he wanted, all he needs is to show his badge to get in.

I work for a very small company and whoever is the first one in unlocks the door (we each have a key). The hours are somewhat flexible - as long as you get 8 hours of work in, they don't care if you come in at 7:30 or 9:00. Generally, most work 8-5 with an hour for lunch.
