I have to say that in fifty years I never met a Judy I did not like. Go Judy! (but you never see that name any more)

I had a pledge sister Judy, and she was great. Er, is great. I've lost touch, but I'm sure she is great.

My husband's cousin has two boys...Jacob and Dylan. Ha!
And the 2nd part of the quote...so right...some of my friends (even my sorority sisters) don't get that this is so not true. I wish it was the case.

My friend teaches 3rd grade, and there is a little boy in her class named Cash Money Moore.
On her roster, it reads Moore, Cash Money.
That's bad.

I have a little boy in my class named Cash Dearmore
I've been working in a new school (daycare) for a awhile now and while I love all my 1 year olds, I will never name my child this.

Slightly off-topic, but because of The Players Club, my sister and I decided that neither of us will name out daughters Diamond.
ETA: For those who haven't seen it, that's the main stripper in the movie.

That is the EXACT same reason I DQ'd the name, too. I hated that movie. Oh, and Sparkle is another name that's out of contention for it's stripper association.

I HATE double names; they are so overused (like Anna Grace)
Here's other names I've encountered during student teaching that I think are bizarre:
- Special (that was a girl, by the way)
- YeShaya
- Aquasia
- JaQuez
- Zykeria

Also slightly off topic, but check out this story about an Italian court that ruled that Mara and Roberto Germano could not name their son Venerdi (Italian for Friday). The court said that he must instead be named Gregorio.
I must admit that as crazy as this is, some of the things I've seen parents name their kids almost seem crazier.

My mom has a student in her class named X-savior Knight. (spelled exactly like that) lmfao. I'll stick to simple names for my children.
I don't know if i've mentioned this already, but when I was younger I had a friend named Cierra. One day Cierra, her mom and I were talking about baby names and her mom told me "I really wanted to name Cierra, Prism 1000, but I decided not to." Cierra always told me that she was going to change her name to Prism 1000 when she became of legal age to do so.

The ones that conjure up bad memories for me (and there were multiple mean kids named these):
80s: Chad, Jason, Shane
90s: Dakota, Dustin
now: Austin, Jaden
(And let me say that there were SIX Austins who lived in in-school suspension at our school last year)

Wayne! Especially as a middle name. It seems to be the name of choice for Felons, particularly in North Carolina
