I dunno if you're gay or not, but if so that right there keeps you from a bid at my chapter (and many many others). So does the fact that not only are you old, most of the brothers could have completed undergrad twice before they reach the age when you'll have completed it once.
In ten years you'll be 34 and looking for your first job as a doctor. Even if he goes to law school he'll have already been practicing for probably 6 years (and be 2-4 years younger than you). Who's "going somewhere" again? Maybe if you are really serious about med school you would know you still have a very damn long time before you become a doctor. You still have 2 years of undergrad, 4 years of med school and 3-7 years of residency depending on what you want to do.
And yes, I drink. Was that thought supposed to be going somewhere? Was it supposed to reflect badly on him? If so, maybe before you rush you should know that you're going to have a hard time finding many greeks, particularly guys, who don't.

First of all no, I'm not gay, I dont understand what gave you that idea.
And yes I already know it will be a while before I practice, where's the relevence in mentioning that? I am going to get into a good medical school, whether I go greek or not. and 2 - 4 years is not big age difference, so unless he is as smart as me which i HIGHLY doubt, I could probably run circles around him careerwise even if he finishes school first.
It's not that he drinks, it's that he comes off as the type of guy that only cares about that. I know the type, these guys pass the prime of their lives before they are 30 and are nobody afterwards. I actually have a good opinion about the fraternity system, it's the few people that give it a bad name (like this jerk) that me, and my greek friends have a problem with.
So think what you want, maybe if you saw what I look like, or what I'm capable of writing, or my tennis game, you'd be more impressed. But I'm done with you.
