Exactly my point - it fits someone like a Matt Lauer better (who, in my honest opinion, is a terrible interviewer of political figures). Gregory is much more of a newsman, and I would suspect would be quite comfortable in the "Meet the Press" format.

Luke Russert is on Larry King right now. He seems like a nice guy and he says all the support has helped him get through this.

They played Brokaw's speech from his father's funeral and Luke smiled and said "awww my good ol' Uncle Tom."

I can't imagine what that guy is going through right now. From everything I've heard (including people who I've talked to from Boston College), he and his father were genuinely very close. I know he's been around the media and attention his whole life, but he's been incredibly poised through the whole thing.
