I think SmartBlondeGPhB was referring to the OP not being in a sorority but being presumptuous enough to "start contemplating what her new sororities symbol would be, with the always adorable hand gesture."

No, I was actually saying we don't have one because we don't have one (regardless of whether someone "sees" it around).

It's HIDEOUS. I saw some girls doing it at convention, and a few of us GCers were talking about it there.

I have never seen an ADPi chapter that doesn't make the "diamond" in photos-- and it is something regularly featured in photos ladies submit to the Adelphean. I respect the other organizations who discourage a handsign, but I think it is something that is pretty well integrated into ADPi.

Yeah, they taught us the diamond on bid day and we do it in pretty much every picture.

I've seen Kappa Delta and Delta Upsilon a lot.
