lol now you know you need to go back to school and get that A the right way!(and tell her that I'll take the class next week)
Well my hookup is Soror's that are in the entertainment biz. Flo Anthony being a soror and talking to her on the e-mail was cool. I told her I had a few pics of me with whoever and she said "send them and put a caption, I'll print them" Her website is down, but i thought that was so cool.
K Sly from the Beat(with our frat Steve Harvey) is a Delta and I asked her manager how much would it be for her to come down here and DJ, She laughed and said "well you know we charge for room and board, but for you all she'd want is to sleep over your house and kick it like it's stepshow weekend" I was like thumbs up to that! lollol.
As for outside the biz, I got out of a a ticket as well because a policeman was a Kappa. And I used to get tickets all over campus cause I parked as close as possible. But then an Alpha and Kappa made a "if you greek" rule. If you had greek plates, no matter where you parked, you didn't get a ticket

Chile puhleeze! That was OVER 10 years ago! The course had nothing to do with my major. I just wanted the "A". LOL
Hey, I did go back for the mid-term and the final (those were the 2 classes I attended).

I obtained my current job on a "hook-up" I was at a job fair and the assistant principal (was an Alpha) that interviewed me, saw that I was an AKA on my resume and asked me ONE question. He told me he was a good judge of character and I got the job, that interview lasted about 3 minutes. Most of the threeminutes he kept stopping trying to get his wife hooked up with a job at another school.

Years ago, I worked in media relations for my organization and had arranged for a local news anchor to interview the president of our organization. About 5years prior to that, I'd been a newspaper reporter who had interviewed this same anchor and his mom as part of the Mother's Day package of stories our paper had done that year.
Anyway, at the time of his interview with the president, I hadn't seen him in the intervening 5 years. As he waited to get in to see the president, we exchanged fraternal greetings -- as good Alpha bruhs do -- and I took him in to the President's office. Dude spent first 5 minutes hyping me to the president, telling him how proficient I was, giving me major kudos.
I've always remembered and appreciated that gesture from one bruh on behalf of another.

I love these hook up stories...
I got a hook up at the National Convention in Philadelphia. It was my first National Convention and one of my previous Big Sisters now my SOROR asked me if I had a ticket to the Gospel Concert. I told her no. She gave me her ticket and said, "Have a nice time." I gave her a hug and told her thank you.

Hmmm in your 7 posts, none of them are an introductory post to your GC Sorors. Handle that.

man, i thought i told this story on here once, but here goes:
My iPod broke one afternoon, only a couple weeks after I bought it. Cracked the screen. Wasnt my fault, i swear! So I go to the local Apple store to see if i can replace it. After a not-so-convincing sob story, the guy at the Genius bar noticed I was wearing a lettered hoodie and said "hold on, Ill be right back."
Minutes later... presto chango! a new iPod! with all my songs uploaded and charged. turns out he was a Sigma. i dont remember his name right now, but i definitely sent a thank-you card to the Apple store.
and i was sure to buy a protective case

slight hijack:
man, customer service reps FRONT HARD on what they "can" and "cannot" do. either "their job" doesnt require it or those folks just dont want to do it.
