I am not confused in the least. First though let me say that I do not mind when someone is attempting to correct something even if they turn out not to be right- we're all human, and in this case you happen not to be right.
I assure you I know about TNE. On the other hand I am not a follower nor do I have any interest in anything that goes on at Weslyan other than that it houses some sort of TNE and by extension of the fellow that runs it, the Mystical Seven. Nevertheless I am not "confused" at all between Eclectic and the various Mystical 7's.

TNE at Wesleyan (Thetanuepsilon dot com) is run by a fellow who brought it back or revitalized it in a very different form. He has a facebook group, a blog and that website which he has been working on for years. It is a very different thing than other TNE groups. There are senseless people who will start the back and forth bickering about legitimacy and authority, usually coming from Wesleyan. I am not addressing the "legitimacy" issue at all.
The other TNE's tend to run as I described. They do good and they accomplish things (which is more than many other organizations), even if their reputation does not always reflect that. One would imagine their independence allows them to accomplish more than groups under the control of administrators, etc. and that this independence carries over to post grad life.
Maybe there is something you know that I have wrong about the Mystical Seven or Eclectic (which I know little about.) It would make a great thread.
