my chapter's recruitment shirts had a tiffany's theme. they were tiffany blue with "APhi & Co" on the front and on the back it said "Class... it's not just something you attend." I agree you have to be careful about looking elitist-- I think it's a good idea to just use the colors (blue, white, silver) in the room decorations without going too overboard about it because it might turn some girls away who either a) can't afford/don't like tiffany jewelry or b) get the wrong impression that you only want a certain type of girl.
