For several years I had a campaign going in our neighborhood to encourage children to walk to school. I am really trying to be more thoughtful about the little things that can make a big difference. My new personal pet peeve is finding anything that should go in the household (or office) recycle bin in the garbage can!
(I make the offender fish it out and put it where it belongs!) I am now using green shopping bags, and I even stopped myself from tossing a ziploc bag the other day....rinsed it out, set it to dry and I'll reuse it for storing pet food or something.
Now if I could get Mr Bejazd to bike to the office...that would be something!!! Maybe I'll get him a new bicycle for Father's Day!
