oh how they annoy me!!
As much as I like James' perspective on nosey people, I still cannot contain my dislike towards nosey people. Its only nosey when they have no tact, because if they were truly concerned, I think we wouldn't mind divulging certain information, unless we truly do not feel comfortable with these folks. But if you ask me a question regarding something thats personal to me, or something that I never told you about in the first place, you can assume that this person A) has been gossiping about you, B) is only seeking to get all up in your business without any intention of helping solve whatever the "issue" is. So I don't hesitate to put nosey people on the spot by asking, "How is this relevant to you" or " what makes you think I....". Chances are these people will realize they've overstepped their bounds without you having to embarrass yourself, but instead putting some heat on them. Take care.
