You should definitely go through recruitment. Keep an open mind. I am an adviser at a CA school and we have MANY sophomores, juniors and even seniors taken as new members. Over the past few years, we have had probably more sophomores than freshmen in some of the new member classes. It is about being yourself and finding the place where you feel comfortable. You might be surprised at how your "favorite" house changes from night to night. I wish you nothing but the best of luck.

It's great to hear that you definitely want to go through here. In my rush group, we had 2 juniors and 4 sophomores. Upperclassmen rushing is highly encouraged.
However, since my heart sis got in contact with you, I am so glad you came to hang out with us! I am a little biased in saying that we would love for you to go sigma kappa! I have heard nothing but great things about you from all my sisters.
