A report released Monday found 86 percent of Tar Heels men’s players earned diplomas during a six-year period. The other top seeds were far worse: 45 percent at Kansas and 40 percent at UCLA and Memphis.

Not to take this away from UNC, but I will always remember Coach K. refusing to hang an ACC championship banner in Cameron Indoor Stadium until Abdlenaby graduated. I like that at Duke (and it seems UNC) the majority of the players actually get the degree! The NBA is only successful to a small number.

Random question: do we have to pick all the way through to a winner in the brackets? Or are we just picking the first round winners right now?

I'm not 100% sure, but I think you need to pick all the way through. The site said to complete your bracket before tipoff of the first game on Thurs.

Thanks! I did actually pick all the way through. I picked a couple of upsets, but we will see. I can't wait for March madness to start!

You DO need to pick all the way through. It does not go Round by Round.
And remember you need to do it all by the time of tipoff on Thursday!
I had a really good run last year (7/8, 4/4, 2/2, and the National Champion) that resulted in me being the GC Chamption. I doubt it'll happen again--but I'm still hoping .
Good luck to everyone

Yeah, the link doesn't work in its full form until you're signed up in the group, I found that out the hard way too.
So click the link, then go up into your address line and backspace all the way back to just the base yahoosports address (get rid of the group #, etc.). Then when you get to the main page, click to join a group, then give the group #, password, etc. Once you're in the group, you can go back to just clicking the link & getting right in.

For those of you who can't stream: ESPN Scoreboard
It's pretty up to date on scores, updates with who made what shot. It's the next best thing to watching them.

Apparently I made my whole bracket and forgot to pick the champion - pure genius at work over here.

And there is no way to get it picked now that the games started?

Nope - oh well. For the record, I picked North Carolina.

Yay! *Rameses hugs GeekyPenquin*
BTW, so far 6 out of 7 of my teams are correct! I screwed up and picked Georgia over Xavier. Damn Bulldogs!
