Let me say that Gamma Phi Beta issued a statement because Johanna from Real World was NOT a member when she was on the show and thus NOT entitled to wear our letters. She had resigned/disaffiliated before the show. So - not a Gamma Phi.

As far as in good standing-that wasn't my point. If you go on Greek101 (the lounge) where people of their own orgs. (I assume-since I have never posted anyone from my org. on there) can put things up about who is who in their org. you will see some of these names mentioned. Granted some names are mentioned more than once or even some random (WTH were they thinking) names are posted-but, that is not by me!

You rely on Greek101/Wikipedia. Here's a thought: did you ever think that these lists are incorrect? These lists are generated by members, I know, but some of these members don't know their own shit. I once saw that Carly Simon and Madonna are AGDs. Betty Crocker and Betty White are proud members of SEVERAL different NPCs. If it's not on the HQ website, I won't even consider it. Maybe you should get a clue. Your Greek101 list of shit belongs either a) up your ass or b) in the trash.

As far as getting so upset about it-I don't even know why you have the right to tell me to shove something up my ass. I was trying to join in the thread and talk about ROL, which made me think about the women on the show. I later found out Jessica was a Kappa and found it to be interesting. I have to admit-when I find out someone is Greek-I tend to watch them more (and usually pull for them the most) because I do believe in Panhellenic unity.

So, before you begin bashing me for joining in on a conversation and interjecting with some random banter (which it was-it wasn't to start an argument-it was to add something to the conversation-nothing more) consider that not everyone has alterior motives the way you may think they do. If I'm going to get bashed for "joining in" the conversation-I don't really see the need to post...and after this-I'm sure some other "lurkers" will feel the same.

Then don't post. It ain't rocket science. And I'm sure other GCers will feel the same.
