The Deltas at Georgetown and American used to also take girls from Mt. Vernon.

For some reason, I keep thinking UDC, but I didn't see them as having a chapter (according to your FABULOUS chart!)

But it could as easily have been any of the others....we're talking 19 years ago! I'm a little brain dead at this point! LOL

LOL.....don't worry, I can't remember things from 19 DAYS ago, lol

Also, I didn't list the schools that have self-contained chapters of NPHC organization, which include Howard and UDC.

But here is an addendum of NPHC and NALFO orgs which have self-contained chapters at DC schools:

Howard: All 9 orgs
UDC: All 9 orgs
GW: All sororities are self contained (AKA, Delta, Zeta, LPC, SLU) but none of the fraternities are
American: AKA and Phi Beta Sigma are self-contained (but I think PBS would be open to Georgetown men)

I would guess that your RA joined the AKAs at American...I'm going to look into that now, curiosity is getting the best of me. MVC has a history and culture that ought to be studied a little more.
