Ignoring the quality control issues of this post, were you founded as a co-ed organization? That is part of their claim to fame.

I was so totally confused by the whole website. Why were there dolphins and pictures that looked like Egyptian symbols? Why are their colors one thing, but they have shades as well. I'm going to take a B.C.

They claim the concept of fraternity, goes back to "Kemet" which is Ancient Egypt.
I got nothin on that except that as far back as civilization goes there have been clans of people who were first blood related, and then culturally related, and then in larger society tied by bonds of profession, brotherhood, vows, etc. I don't know if they're operating off of that sort of logic or anything more specific.
Dolphins... they're pretty?

The dolphin is their symbolic mascot. I didn't get the shades thing either.

It's too confusing for me to even try to comprehend... I clicked onto the (Digamma) site and got an instant headache.
I also clicked on the Beaux site... hmmmmm. In college, I had a suite mate who was a Delta Gent (later called GQ-Gentleman of Quality) and a roommate who was a MIAKA (later called MAK-Men Acquiring Knowledge), but I never seen them throwing up signs... weird.
