Stop throwing false actions towards me when you obviously misinterpreted what you read.
Geeze.

It was hard to get that whole "I wouldn't have the guts to do that" vibe from your post because the cloud of snootiness was just so thick.
Just calling em like I see em!

Nope, you just can't see past the huge barrier in front of you that says,
"I'm right!"
Get over yourself, I know how I interpreted it to be, sorry you didn't.

Why would you not have the guts to skip a house, pnm? I rushed as a sophomore and would have dropped any house that didn't feel like one I could be with.
It's far better to drop a house you KNOW deep down you'll never feel right in instead of keeping it just so you won't be dropped from recruitment. ANY sorority is NOT better than THE sorority for you.
It's like telling someone who is a size 12/14 (me) to go ahead and buy that designer sample dress. It might not FIT, but I could do my best in trying to FORCE it to fit. But, it'll just never be for me.
Same thing. It's about finding YOUR home, not just A home.
If you try and join a group you don't really click with, you'll most likely be one of the pledge class casualties we all are familiar with. Be smarter than that.

Oh cool, a Columbus rush story! I always loved walking around in the greek part of OSU when I had to come to town for anything, the houses are so pretty (and there's usually available parking!). The campus always terrifies me though, because Otterbein is soooo tiny in comparison! Congratulations on your new sisterhood

I wouldn't have the guts because I'm a big sissy.
I haven't been through recruitment yet, so I don't actually know.
To me, being in a sorority is a big deal, so I'd try to preserve as many chapters as I could.
But I've so much on how you should go even if you don't want to or they'd it'd get around to the other girls.
That's why I wouldn't have the guts.

Keep that attitude, PNM08...it's called maximizing your options. Panhellenic recommends that you do that so you have the lowest chance of ending up empty handed on Bid Day. As for Tippiechik...would you really drop a group because a sister "blinked too much?" That's pretty superficial...the poor girl may have a tic! If it was deeper than what the OP wrote, then you can't blame PNM08 for being confused that a Junior Transfer Student would have enough guts to be that picky!
