True story.
When I was in high school, our faculty members were mostly AKAs, Deltas, and Alphas. Whenever there was a black history or college-related assembly, they would ALWAYS get Alphas and AKAs to step in exhibition. Never any other organization.
Well, the Seniors wanted something different in 96-97. We decided hey, for our talent show, let's recruit Deltas and Ques! We always felt the Delta teachers were cooler than the AKA teachers. (In retrospect....yeah, they were LOL) And we wanted the Deltas' "brothers" to step, since the AKAs and Alphas had stepped at my school so often before.
So we asked our Delta math teacher if the Deltas at Howard could/would perform (she was active in FCAC at the time and later became president of that chapter). Well, she told us off the top NO. (LG probably knows why, given the time period)
