Bid Day!
I had classes allllllll day, so I couldn't even get to the GLO until minutes before 2 (I had to be late to work!) and I got there and there was a line of girls waiting to the their bids from the head of Greek Life. So I got in line and waited.
And I got to the front, and she handed me a white envelope with my name on it.
And I excitedly opened the envelope, and inside was a beautiful white card with a red crest...
and then I shrieked because it was an invitation to join..........
STARS!

(The Greek Life Advisor responded with "I'll take as a 'yes, I'm accepting my bid'")
I hurried to work, and then went to revealing, where I whisked away to take pictures with my new chapter at the house. I knew I was home, as corny as that sounds, and I made some of the best friends a girl could ask for. I pledged Fall 03 (yeah, it was retro-I know everyone hates those!) and after 9 active semesters, I'm a new alumna of my chapter, but I know I'm a "Pi Phi for Life" and I'm excited to join an alumnae club after I graduate!
So that's my tale! I went to a northern school, so it was much different than many of the other experiences I've read on here, but I think it's so cool how very different recruitment is at various chapters.
Yay! (It was fun to feel like a PNM again!)
