Thank you Ta kala and Kathykd for your response. It is interesting to look at everyone's viewpoint for our 200,000 member sisterhood. I know I have taken this thread in a direction I don't think kdizzy intended but I come from an AA that less than 10 years ago had a membership of 110+. Last year our dues paying membership had dropped to 27. We had to ask ourself a lot of questions. What had we done wrong? A group of us met ( 5 generations of KD's ) from 20/something to a very young 60 something. (that would be me) We decided our own focus and that was chapter relations and support. We advertised this and low an behold we now are between 50 and 60 members and growing. I agree with kathykd, with so many choices the sky is the limit as an alumna and an AA. So....... my favorite KD program, at least for my AA and my area of the KD world is......CHAPTER SUPPORT.
