If you're planning on getting serious with him, then make sure he joins a fraternity, any fraternity. If your boyfriend doesn't give you his ribbons or medal, then the relationship is completely worthless. I can't believe your sisters never told you that.

i KNEW it! a bunch of my sisters got medals from their boyfriends after a few months and now none of them talk to me anymore. i guess i'll have to depledge unless i can get him into a frat. can anyone write him a rec?

I heard if he was going to do G.I. Joe that he would have to see Snake Eyes to get his letter of recommendation and then Cobra Commander would have to sign off on it too.
