If RM didn't seem to thrive off of being the wackiest person around, then I would take it more seriously. I sent up a prayer either way, so whether God is consoling a mourning father or sending help to someone who is disturbed, blessings are coming in either event.

He broke the news on PP. But I, too, wonder why he didn't mention it here. Maybe it's because he was being clowned so bad over there he had to find a way to fit in ala, Chaos' scenario.
But now he's banned over there so he broke this news over here knowing that some of us visit both boards.

All I know is that IF this is a lie, it's not funny. I'm not questioning you, Kappa Finest/Rain/Jason, but I DO know that if it's attention you need, you won't get it like this. Death is real and it is painful.
My prayers are still with you; I may have to change the content of them,(especially if you're lying) but they are still with you.

To those who have supported me, I continue to thank you.
To those who say I am lying: After being told I was responsible for the baby's death by a cousin of hers, HOW DARE YOU accuse me of lying, especially considering the news was directed to my fellow Nupes and not at any of you! That is very cruel of you to even think that. Bottom line, it is NOT your place to accuse me of anything, because the news was not addressed to you. Some of you are clearly out of line and totally out of order!!
Shame on you!!

Because you have lied before. And all we know is what YOU tell us. Don't forget how suspicious everyone was on PP when you broke the "story."
I am going to chalk all of this up to your Asperger Syndrome. You even said yourself it is what causes your behavior.
That brings up another point. As a person with AS why would you even consider bringing a child into the world? There is a genetic disposition especially connected to the father.

LG, you are in the KAPPA forum responding to posts addressed to KAPPAS!! You are in NO position to accuse any brother of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity of anything, especially since the thread wasn't directed to you to begin with.

I won't even dignify that with an answer, especially considering how incredibly pompous and arrogant that sounded

Then when you created the thread you should have said this is directed to Kappas only. You didn't seem to have a problem with non-Kappas offereing you sympathy even though the thread wasn't directed to them.
And I am in a position to say whatever I want to say on a message board that is open to the public.
Arrogant and pompous? Oh that's right--misuse of words, etc.
Um, notice the lack of _____s in this thread.

Then go find a Kappa private board and post it there. GC isn't private.

I happen to think that it's an extremely valid question, and that it deserves an answer.

I'm curious about your source for that ladygreek. Not that I'm challenging you -- it just is more specific than anything I've seen. I know it seems clear that there are genetic components to AS, and I know that AS is more commonly diagnosed in males. But I haven't seen any research specifically linking AS to the father's side genetically.
I will agree with RM, though -- I think the question is out of line. People risk passing along genetic predispositions all the time -- why suggest that men with AS shouldn't even "consider" having kids? It's not like AS is a terminal illness or debilitating birth defect. As the father of an Asperger's kid, I can assure you that I think the world is better off because he's in it, and had we known before he was born that he would have AS, it wouldn't have made any difference, except that we would have learned more about it sooner. Yes, he faces some challenges that most other kids don't have to deal with, but he brings some wonderful gifts and perspectives that most other kids don't as well.
Perhaps someone with AS would consider bring a child into the world because they know that it's not the end of the world to have AS. Besides, dad will know how it feels and can help the kid learn what he needs to know.

Thank You!!!!! This is the internet...no one here feels inclined to be 'in line' or 'in their place'. This is why ppl need to stop trying to make real friendships/bonds on the net. Keep your business to yourself and share your life w/real ppl that you actually know...otherwise you are just opening yourself up to ridicule and judgment from ppl who neither know nor care about you.

what I said has to do with the fact that you stated--it is more commonly diagnosed in males, thus there is a greater chance of the link being the father.
And please don't personalize this discussion. You are comparing apples to oranges here.

GC is a moderated forum for a reason: to maintain order and decorum.
