My daughter pledged as a sophomore at a Colorado school. I don't think she realized it might be a disadvantage for her when she went through recruitment, so she didn't stress about it! She got a bid to the house she wanted and is one of 5 sophs and her closest friend from her pledge class is a junior. So it does happen! Good luck to you.
