I used Medium Tan one day, and Tan the next, but they still make my face look darker? But I don't think I'm light enough to be part of their "medium" set???

I use medium, and I'm half Mexican. I thought it would be too light, but it's perfect throughout the year except for summer, when I get really, really tan.
