this is bad but...if you really need the "big guns" ask him what kind of a girl he likes...then start naming girls that match that...then tell him what kind of guy you like, but describe someone different from him. Or maybe, just because he is atracted to you doesn't mean he'd date you. There are girls I'm atracted to that I would love to get it on with, but as far as seriously dating them, or holding a conversation, or acknowldeging their existance outside of the bedroom...never!!
