****SPOILER****
I read on some website, probably EW, that they've hired actors to play Cyrus and Aaron Rose, so for those of you who want more book/show continuity, there you go! I'm excited for Serena/Aaron.

Yes, but Cyrus is being played by Wallace Shawn. I find that very awkward, he just doesn't seem like a Gossip Girl member, he is talented and funny. I hope this is just a rumor and not true.

If they go by the books, Cyrus is supposed to be awkward and annoying, so I think this could fit.

As soon as I heard that he was cast, I knew he was totally going to be Cyrus Rose.
I'm glad that the show isn't following the books totally, because in the books, Rufus was GROSS. Now he's hot.

Rufus is SMOKIN' HOT in the show!
For those who have read the books, which couples end up together at the end of the series? I know Dan and Serena is basically a one-off in the books...

They've been doing filming around the city for a few days now & I'm REALLY tempted to stop on by after work. On Location is my new fav website!

Last night's episode -- eh. I hope Blair shuts up and stops whining soon. So annoying. I love how Jenny saved the day. Serena with the socialites - I think we'll see more of her party ways soon! Chuck is such a jerk, what else is new?

Last night was all about character development and not any major drama.
I AM interested in what Lily's secret is, though.

Lilly and Bart are the Julie Cooper and Caleb Nichol from the O.C. for Gossip Girl.

Blair was getting on my nerves! She just needs to grow up; it was getting very old, very fast. Hopefully that will be somewhat better in the next episode.

I hate that I don't have enough time to devote to the DVR anymore. By the time I get to watch one week's episode, it's already next week!
I know many didn't like Blair's manipulative ways, but I was cheering her on. I wanted to see Eleanor, Jenny, and Serena all get screwed!
I cannot cannot stand Jenny. Especially her smirk. Go ahead and drop out of high school, honey. I can't wait until she gets screwed over again.

I can't say I wanted to see Jenny or Serena go down, but I definitely wanted to see Eleanor get screwed.
You'd think she'd be nicer to her own daughter than she would be to her friends... I've never understood how Eleanor did not realize that her daughter was the great Blair Waldorf!
Jenny's immature but beyond that she's got issues. I know she wants to "make it" in the fashion industry, but part of me wishes Rufus had said "LISTEN - PARSON'S DOES NOT TAKE HIGH SCHOOL DROP OUTS!"
Besides - she's not old enough to drop out, is she?

umm I am totally rooting for Jenny. I think she is endearing, and unlike others, her intentions, though sometimes selfish, are no long malicious.

Put me in the same boat. I'm a big Jenny fan.
