Any alumna member can write a letter of recommendation. Call this woman and ask if she will write one for you. Be aware that if she left in bad standing, it may not help you. Otherwise, it would be a good rec since the woman actually knows you! Good luck, but open your mind and consider the other groups on campus as well. It'll likely save you a lot of heartache!
