I'm sad. As soon as I heard the story on the radio, I pulled out a CD that had a few of his arias and listened. He was never my favorite, but it's still sad.

This morning I was driving to work and this story came on NPR, and I instantly thought of you AlphaFrog, Idk why but I know you like Opera, and I was like, oh I have to post this if they haven't already!

I have been devastated all morning about this. Pavarotti WAS opera, Caruso was just his predecessor.

I heard a few months ago that he had pancreatic cancer, and I've known several people who die of it merely weeks after they first hear about it. I would like to see more funding go towards research on the deadliest forms of cancer such as this kind.

This is sad.

Prostate cancer is easily treated, if caught early enough.

Here is some info from the American Cancer Society about prostate cancer:

We will be discussing Prostate cancer at our chapter meeting tonight, with a guest speaker and everything.

Pavarotti had pancreatic cancer though, which is one of the quickest and deadliest to have.
