IS THIS JUST TALK OR IS THIS FOR REAL? Or are we only speaking semantics given there ARE graduate chapters who aren't on the yard like their undergrad counterparts?

Please ignore my sorors. They even get on my nerves with their snootiness.
To answer your question, the real myth is that Omegas sacrifice sweat and time to becom Omega Men. Their process is rather simple. They go to a meeting with their transcripts (and yes even alumni chapters require that you graduated with a minimum GPA.)
After checking transcripts, those who are qualified are asked to stay the others are dismissed. A membership fee is collected and a short ceremony is held and those applicants are initiated as Omegas. The next night there is a celebration where family, wives and girlfriends are invited.
I know all of this because my Dad is a past district basileus.
