Since A&M was a large school there is always a percentage that fail out unfortunately but that is usually the main reason people left. We are not a commuter school and most people did not go home unless there wasn't anything going on that weekend. I LOVE my mother (and my aunt, uncle etc...)but I do not ever ever want to live less than 1.5 hrs from my family unless I have to. I could not wait to leave home and haven't been back since for longer than 3 months. I spent 1 summer when I was in vet. school at home and I wanted to scream ( my mom is a neat freak-I am not). My mother would love it if I would move home-she calls me everyday wondering when I am going to visit and she usually comes up about 1/month.
My brother is different. He wen to UTSA which is a huge commuter school in San Antonio and he lived at home until he was 28 years old-then he got married.
