Awwww, yay for no news being good news (and your remarks are so sweet, I'm 22 and I am so glad that I'm sick at home with my mom to make me feel better. Moms rule)! Here's to hoping your daughter and all her friends have found their homes this afternoon (and that you come back ASAP and tell us where) - I keep checking back hoping it's time, but sadly, it's not. Fingers crossed for all the PNMs whose stories we've heard here.

I'll be here at 3:00pm, too.
Or maybe closer to 4:00pm since we'll have to anxiously wait for AuburnMom to make it to a computer following distribution of bids!

I was getting all excited as well that 3:00 would get here soon until I realized that it was 3:00 Central time! That means I have to wait until 4:00 Eastern time to hear (actually, it will probably be closer to 4:30 by the time all the calls and postings get done).

Auburn Panhellenic has been very good about posting a list of new members, hometowns and where they pledged. The Web site says the list will be up after 4 p.m. here: https://fp.auburn.edu/greek/phmain.htm

Well, look at it this way - by then, the work day will almost be over

My daughter went through rush in 2000 at TAMU. I remember bid day as though it was yesterday. The thrill and happiness in her voice made me cry.
Enjoy the day and your daughter's excitement. My daughter is proud to be an AggieAXO.

ETA: I just received some good news, too. I had been wanting to share this with you all sooner, but I decided not to say ONE WORD, just to be on the safe said... until after recruitment is over. A high school friend of mine decided to go to Auburn, and she went through recruitment this past week. I was so nervous for her because obviously she's not from the south, she has no ties to Greek life, etc. Anyway, she just told me that she's going to be in Gamma Phi Beta! Yayyy! I'm so glad everything worked well for her. I didn't ask for too many details about the week since she wanted to go shopping and make a few more exciting phone calls. But I assume that she already knows this because she only went to one pref party? And she obviously did not receive a phone call this morning. Yay! Now I just have to wait for one more high school friend's recruitment to be over with that I'm equally as nervous for. Again, I won't give you any details about it until hers is over too. I hope hers ends up well too!

You are correct; if your friend already knows where she is going she must have preffed only one house and if she didn't get the dreaded phone call this morning, she knows she's getting a bid to that house.

Congratulations to your friend! 30 more minutes for the rest of us to wait... We're almost there!

Yea! for another Auburn Gamma Phi Beta!!!

Now if we can only find out where Kate and the other girls found their homes!!! I hate waiting for people to post results!!!
