And also to keep in mind that with release figures, most sororities are given a target number of PNM that they can invite back each round... so while there might have been 1,000 perfect PNM's who ABC thought would be amazing additions to their sisterhood, if ABC can only invite 400 back to the next round, then 600 amazing women are being cut from that group's invite list...
(On the flip side, I know that means that if ABC can only take 70 women, then it's a good thing that all of those women aren't getting their hopes up only to go bidless on bid day... but I can only imagine how much it hurts in the meantime...)
