Any of these things--- She's interested in meeting new people, getting involved on campus, has an interest in community service and personal development, has an interest in developing leadership skills and/or event planning skills, to have a more active social life through structured events and programming, social and career networking, having a great time with other ladies at her college, she is interested in doing well in school and being around others who share that goal, she enjoys being recognized for her accomplishments and celebrating the accomplishments of others, being there for a friend and having friends be there for you, helping others and adding to her college experience and her quality of life.
Basically, if you're interested-- go for it! Register for formal recruitment at your school and meet all of the sororities to see if perhaps you might be interested in membership.
