They say it has something to do with medical issues. It obviously can't be anything serious since she's home, not the hospital.
They actually gave her five days credit for being in jail really only three days. Yep, that hour or so on Sunday counted for a day, and this morning counted as a day, too.

How surprising 
Honestly I am surprised she was in there as long as that.
Money will buy your way out of things in our society... I know people who have done less than her and have sat in jail longer.

paris couldnt even stick out a 3 week sentence? good lord, she has made me lose all faith, not in the justice system (cause thats already been shot to hell) but in her because I BELIEVED HER when she said she was ready to learn from her mistakes!
she's making wayne brady look like 50 cent right now - cause any street cred she couldve gained for time in the slamma she threw out the window.

LOS ANGELES, California (UNN) -- Doctors at the UCLA Medical Center may have discovered the possible condition that may have kept Paris Hilton from completing her 23 day stay in a Los Angeles County Prison Facility. After taking the prerequisite blood tests and analysis obtained right after release, doctors today are about to conclude that Hilton suffered from a rare and severe form of Hyper Anal Glaucoma or H.A.G. Highly contagious in the prison population, very few are actually ever treated for it. No conclusive proof has been found linking any deaths directly to this disease. Her publicist remained mum on the subject but an inside source said that for the 72 hours that Hilton spent at the facility she kept repeating, "I can't see my ass in jail for another 3 weeks."
Calls to Hilton's home went unanswered.

Omigosh, they are saying she got out for getting a rash. What in the world. A rash!? One of her family members speculates that is is HIVES of all things.
Rumor now is that she's doing an exclusive interview with Barbara Walters about it.

Honestly not surprised to hear this news. BW has been dropping hints constantly about her connection to Paris' mother. The sad part is that it will probably get a ton of viewers. I think Elisabeth Hasselback had the best punishment. No media coverage for forty days of Paris.
As for the medical condition...could it be she was suffering withdrawl from paparazzi camera flashes?
