I use Dior Show now and to be honest, I am not that impressed. I was disappointed because I had heard awesome things and rave reviews. It just didn't live up to the hype for me.
eta: Maybe I'm applying the mascara wrong. I apply it normally, bottom to top with a slight wiggle of the brush. 2 coats. Does Dior Show have a special trick I missed? I just don't understand why everyone else loves it and I am just not impressed. I'm weird like that I guess.

I use MAC Studio Fix foundation and powder, Benefit Dandelion powder (as a blush), light brown Stila eyeliner and Clinique mascara. I also use Philosophy's Purity facewash and Hope in a Jar moisturizer (BEST PRODUCT EVER) and their Big Skinny self-tanner.
I don't own eyeshadow - I have tried just about every color and NONE look good on me. I'm really pale with light reddish brown hair and blue eyes, and eyeshadow always makes me look like a raccoon.

I love BE, especially in the winter when I'm working. It's so easy to apply and blends beautifully. In the spring and summer though, I usually just use a little burts bees concealer, mary kay icicles in bronze, blush (sometimes BE but usually Estee Lauder,) and Carmex for my lips. I'm outside a lot, so I try not to use too much that will melt or run.

I ordered it and hated it. It came out looking pepto-bismol pink on me. Like something really horrible from the 80's. One of my sisters tried it in the store and hated it also.

Diorshow Mascara
Okay. Today is my first full day of use of Diorshow. I know it isnt a popular opinion here, but I love Diorshow! It makes my lashes so big, it doenst run with my watery allergy eyes (the waterproof Diorshow atleast), and it keeps my lashes curled for 9 hours with no reapplications.

DHC Skincare
I am a total fan of DHC Skincare ( www.dhccare.com).They are a Japanese company (and who has better skin??) and I adore their olive oil based products. They are great about sending you samples, so you can try it first. The first time I washed my skin with their Deep Cleansing Oil I ran around having everyone feel my skin - it felt that good, even before moisturizing (I have a thyroid problem, so dry skin is an issue). I get compliments on my complexion all the time (I'm 43!)
My 17 yr. old daughter went from Proactive to DHC - now has FANTASTIC looking skin.
I have yet to try their make-up, though - I still have too much of everything else.

How do you get the samples? I looked on their website but could not find anything. I am always up for trying something before I buy it...

I love the DHC Velvet Skin Coat- before I would put on makeup in the morning and by the time I came home at night it looked like I didn't put any on- but with the skin coat it seems to "stay put" much better.

I ordered the waterproof diorshow mascara late last night from Sephora so I'll give opinions when i get it. I do that too though---two coats on the top lashes with a slight wiggle of the brush, and one coat on the bottom with a slight wiggle. I also use an eyelash curler before applying mascara and I make sure there are no clumps on the brush before I apply (otherwise the clumps end up on my lashes). I also like to slightly bend the brush when i take it out of the tube for the first time to help with the ease of the application. I do notice a difference in the look of my lashes when I use an eyelash curler first. I do have one of those eyelash comb thingies that came with a brush kit I bought but I havent used one of those in a long time, so I dont know if it would make much difference or not.

I just ordered entirely too much Smashbox last night!
Anyone have experience with their:
creme eyeliner
focal point mascara?
I also picked up shadow, lip gloss, and concealer. Someone should really block all shopping sites from my laptop!
