The books themselves have the Greek Licensed Product seal on the back cover.
I especially like the 2nd to last page - where it has a box to write the "Future Sister"'s name, and the last page has a place for Family and Friend members of GLO, Messages from Loved Ones, and Expected Year of Initiation. My 17 year old daughter thought that was frightening - and then I pointed out I have a picture of her at 6 months, dressed in pink with her brown and mode pledge ribbon!
I bought a copy of all of them, so if you want to know what is contained in them pm me. Oh - I need to get a replacement for my Tri-Delt since I gifted it already! Noelle (the mom) and her sister are both Tri-Deltas, so how could I not??

There's so much stuff out there for children of alums and it scares me. I'm beginning to think that the tradition of giving special consideration to legacies is out the window. Almost all the legacies we know who have gone to larger universities since about 2000 have been cut and how awful would it be if someone had kept up one of those books and her daughter knew it and then she was cut?
I mean, we knew 6 top girls who were cut last year by their legacy sororities and this isn't some little isolated happening.

I'm with you, Carnation. seems a little...twisted.
I'd rather buy a baby onesie or t-shirt for a sister that says something like
"My mom is hot! She's Gamma Phi" or something like that for a baby shower gift...but I've never seen any baby greek gift stuff. It must be out there???
Just to get me going...he thought it was funny...and I had to laugh too...when I brought my son home from the hospital my husband had taped a picture of a little boy praying over the crib. It had a caption that read "and please God, make me a Sigma Chi..." It's in his baby book now!

Hey,Chi Omega has a maternity shirt -
"Little Hootie on Board" - that their HQ sells. And a diaper bag! The shirt would be okay if you were one of the lucky women who looks cute during pregnancy - I looked like a beached whale (gained 50 - 70 lbs. each time) so I did NOT want to be representing Gamma Phi during that time!

I'm planning on having shirts made for my kids that say:
ASA Legacy
FKT Legacy
And having their pics taken together.
Yes, I'm one of THOSE moms.

Hey...thanks for the plug!
Actually, it's the "Baby Hootie Nesting" tee, available exclusively through Chi O Creations.
xo_kathy, do you know if you're having a boy or girl?

Is there a closeup available of the embroidery? That sounds so cute.
