Amy Winehouse's CD is really good.

...and I swear everytime I see Adam Levine (lead singer of Maroon 5) he reminds me of my ex-bf because they could be twins.

Good song too BTW.

Did anyone see Robin Thicke on Oprah...again? Remember how she was so doe-eyed with Michael Bolton? I think Mr. Thicke is a great singer too (saving up to buy his album), but really Oprah? Really? I just think about how many Black singers who are positive (ie Anthony Hamilton, Jill Scott, etc.) could use the extra, been-on-Oprah-more-than-once publicity.

But I do think Robin Thicke is where it's at for blue-eyed soul singers. I remember liking his voice way back before he cut his hair and was riding a bike through Times Square, lol!

Oh yes, Thicke, before the Robin. That song was so hot!

I'm a fan of Nikka Costa... her first album, Everybody Got Their Somethin', was pretty awesome. And she has a great duet with Van Hunt on his new album (On The Jungle Floor), called "Mean Sleep."

A bit old school but Tony Bennett and Frank Sinatra. Classic.

I am playing the heck outta Amy Winehouse right now. Her cd is ridiculous! I like Robin Thicke (yum) too. I loved Maroon 5's first cd, haven't heard the latest yet, but I'll probably be picking it up soon- the lead singer is just too dang cute. Cute!

And I am still rocking Justin's cd. It was just that good. Loved it.

adding Gavin DeGraw (if he hasn't been mentioned yet)
Amanda Perez (not 'blue eyed' but Latina), I believe she won the title of Ms. Black Voice somewhere here in the Midwest.

I remember that!

I'll have to come back when I have something more productive to say...
