Rumors are the show is going to get a 13 episode order for next season. No sure who will be signed on, especially since Melissa McCarthy and Matt Czuchry both booked pilots.

of COURSE every boyfriend Rory ever has on GG gets to have their own show. It's the Gilmore Girl curse (for us at least. I still miss Jess and think he was perfect for Rory).

Did anyone else see the symbolic part where there are two different paths in the maze and Logan goes one way and Rory goes the other then Logan decides he'll go and take Rory's path? Thanks for shoving symbolism down our throats, GG!

I admit I started choking up in that very last scene with Luke and Loralie though. Somehow that ending made up for the entire crap episode (although Kirk as the Minotaur-Kirk in general in fact-was quite amusing).

They could still film with the pilot though. Perhaps. And not all pilots end up turning into series and sometimes there's a lot of time between things. Who knows.

I kind of want another 13 episodes, but I kind of don't. If it's going to end, just end it happily now, without tearing my show apart.

Okay, so I don't know how many of you on here watch Supernatural also, but last's night episode started off kind of funny. Sam and Dean (the two main characters) were on a tour of a studio and the tour guide was driving past Stars Hollow and made a comment about how if they were lucky they would see a star from the show. Then they cut to Jared Padeleki (sp?) who plays Sam. I just thought it was kind of funny

The look on his face was priceless! We don't get the CW here, so when I watched supernatural online, I caught that too...great stuff.

I wish they would put full episodes of GG online...that would be great.

I just watched this week's episode and noticed that too.

I know not all pilots get picked up.. but if they do, their contract with the pilot will take priority since I believe they are not under contract with GG anymore.

Rory's a nickname.

Mom is Lorelai Victoria Gilmore.
Rory is Lorelai Leigh Gilmore.

If I'm not mistaken, I recall an episode where Lorelai talks about how the name "Rory" came to be. As with most kids growing up, they can't say names/words properly, and that's how Lorelai Junior = Rory.

wouldn't she be the third since richard's mother is the original lorelai?

I suppose, but I didn't bother to count her since technically the name skipped a generation and I really don't know how "the Second"s work.

If you want to be technical, I guess Trix would have been Lorelai the First, and so forth.

I actually knew of a man named Kimberly, and his daughter was also named Kimberly. The daughter's now 25, married (with a different last name) with two kids...we still call her "Kim Jr."

I think the first episode with trish was called The Third Lorelai or something. But I don't think Lorelai had planned to name her daughter after herself. I recall Rory mumbling something about labor and pain killers in the first conversation with Dean. (Wow that was a long time ago)
