Great question!

Baked Alaska was a Chi Omega dessert tradition at many National Conventions. (Probably started during the many years Convention was held at The Greenbrier.) It's quite a spectacle when they dim the lights and the wait staff enters with trays of flaming Baked Alaska!

The meals at Alpha Gamma Delta conventions have a reputation for being in red, buff, and green.

The Strawberry Soup at the Chicago Centennial kinda threw things off. It was pink.
