If you are wearing an AKA sweatsuit, with AKA socks, AKA shoes, and an AKA hat, you are taking it too far. Sorors, don't you know a soror like this?

I don't know any personally, BUT I SEE too many sorors, especially at conferences.
NEWSFLASH: ALL. YOU. NEED. IS.ONE.ITEM.
If we see you with the hat, you don't need everything else. Too much AKA on at one time is not cute.
A PINK 'frig? LMAO Very retro. What color is your kitchen? Is this the only pink appliance?

Yes. But older in Age, but not older in AKA. I've seen the old in age, but young in AKA do it as well.
A few groups didn't get that memo.

My aunt, who is a member of DST has a intensified pink kitchen. Ummmm, if I see her coordinating with intensified pink accessories/appliances, I'mma holla. (Thank goodness she finally re-activated)

My best friend showed me those items from Horchow last summer; I "oohed" and "awwed" of course. She said, "I don't know any man who'd put up with a pink kitchen." The way I see it, it would be none of his concern (esp. if it's my kitchen at my own place; I'm currently single anyway), but I see her point. I think the KitchenAid would be a nice splash of color in an otherwise "drab" kitchen, but I don't know about other appliances, decor, etc. At least the utensils and other "minor" items can be hidden.

I though it was very interesting and somewhat far fetched until one of my LS's was "victimized", or rather made herself a victim at our first sorority meeting after initiation! It was so sad, picture this: pink ankle boots with a skirt... that's all I'm gonna say.
I understand the excitement because we were all fresh "out", but I, like several of my other LS's, simply wore my AKA rhinestone pin on my suit jacket to the meeting.

Don't knock your LS. She's just pink and green happy right now. Give her a little while, she'll stick to one or the other. It's been 10 years and I still show a little AKAtude in my attire.
