Heidi is retarded. She's not pregnant, so it was pretty pointless for her to tell Spencer to come up to her work and and talk about it. You could totally see it in his face that he was like "Well WTF did you ask me to come up here for if you're not??."
Well I'm sure the producers were thinking that it makes for good TV.
However, a pregnancy scare is arguably something a woman shouldn't have to deal with on her own. She should've just said she thought she was pregnant, discovered she wasn't, and wants to discuss where to go from here to prevent this from happening in the future (or what he would want to do if she ended up pregnant).
