Electronic C&C: Thanks for Your Help!
Brothers,
The latest issue of the Electronic C&C was posted, as promised and on time, last night!
I want to thank all of my fellow GChaters who helped in any way with the discovery of Warren A. Cole's "lost grave site." You humor, advice, research, encouragement, and work are much appreciated by me.
John G., thank you for taking the time to actually find and document the grave site. I wish that I could have been there with you!
I hope all of you like the Warren Cole article and the rest of the January Cross & Crescent magazine.
Yours in ZAX,
Mike Raymond

Brother Raymond,
Great article on Cole's grave site. Somehow, I missed the December issue, so I just read Part 1 of the Cole story for the first time. While it is interesting that Cole's sons didn't join Lambda Chi Alpha, it isn't really surprising, is it? Since they would probably have been college age during the time when their father was sort of an "nonentity" at headquarters?
It's my understanding that Warren Cole wasn't even listed as a founder or even a member during the time between 1920 and 1957. If a fraternity had given my dad the boot that way, deserved or not, I probably wouldn't join either.
Regardless, great article. Do you have plans for a Part 3?
In ZAX,
Ottor

Brother Mark yes, it is chilling to read.
Warren Cole was a hard driver and did what We think was his best in the days of yore as it were.
As you mentioned, He was expulled, but later reinstated as he should have been but lost to History in LXA history.
It was a concerted effort by four Brothers from all over the country, but Brothers from all over who were able to find where He was buried. It was an effort starting with Mike Raymond, suggestions by Jono, digging by me and the final result by John Gezeilzus in his trip.
Yes, I beleive it was at the Denver GA in 1958 that he was reinstated.
This is something that Brothers of LXA will be able to hold forever.
I was having PC Problems and with the help of Jason Peirce on the phone yesterday, it is now cleared up!
Who says IHQ is not there for us?
Mike another outstanding job that you know I could not wait to read!
Mark, there was a period of time that Coles name was not mentioned. Sad to say the least.
Now, maybe We will be whole again!

The March Issue of the C&C is On-Line
Brothers,
The March issue of the Cross & Crescent magazine is once again on-line. It has been issued on the 2nd day of the month, as promised and on time, since November, 2005! Seventeen issues in a row with 272 pages of information, colorful illustrations, reader feedback, and interactive links to other sources of information within most articles.
The C&C magazine is also a great example of IHQ staff and volunteers working together to benefit our Brotherhood
You might find the history section of some interest. I want to thank Jono for his valuable help in putting the history article together. Hats off to Tad, Chris, Jason, and the rest of the C&C team!
Yours in ZAX,
Mike Raymond, Z-U Zeta

The latest issue of the Cross & Crescent Magazine is now available for your reading enjoyment.
You have to read Jono Hren's article on the evolution of our pledge pin.
