While I have been following the post on GreekLife thread, it is not in the nature of the current management at IHQ or the GHZ to just close a Zeta.

Why some may ask? It is because it does hurt the bottom line of LXA, but it also hurts the availability of more new members finding out what LXA is all about.

As Brother Jono said I beleive on the GreekLife thread, LXA outlawed hazing in 1972. First off, it was not done by IHQ, it was voted on by Zeta Brothers and passed.

If there have been repeated problems, then IHQ has no recourse than to take matters in hand and close or censor said Zeta.

One, and make that We must all understand that no matter what a Zeta does for the positive side, if there is a negative side, that outweighs it.

Remeber, that each time a Zeta is closed, it is done for a very good reason and they reflect on all of us and all Greek Organizations.

Granted there have been Zetas closed this year, we can only hope that in the future, there will be an opporunity to go back.
