Like jojapeach, I also somewhat expected a dammmmnnnn dammmnnnn dammmnnnnn! moment. But the whole thing was tastefully done and realistic.
I enjoy Monica's position on the show, but I think it willbe short-lived because William isn't really in love with her.
And generally....the show is still funny as heck to me. I laughed out loud several times -- and I rarely laugh out loud to tv shows.

We need to kick it up a notch from Donnie to "God is Trying to Tell You Something."

Mary Mary
Joan should be having her "Yesterday" moment, right about NOW!

Agreed! Both of those songs fit, but I personally like Yesterday.

I was reading in The Parade mag section of the Sunday paper and a reader asked a question of why Jill Marie Jones left Girlfriends....she is saying that she wanted to pursue movies on the big screen...I think it was/is a combination of both she wanted to do movies and thta wanting more money or not wanting to take a pay cut.....but at any rate she has finished 2 movies....One is a Christmas movie that she is mostly a black cast and has Terrence Howard and Queen Latifah in it...nope I don't remember the name of eithr movie, but Christmas one I have heard about.

A few seasons ago, he was Jabari DARNELL Wilkes, but tonight he is Jabari Leroy Wilkes? And no he didn't plagiarize Maya's book for an English paper.

According to Jill's bio on imdb.com, she just finished filming "Perfect Christmas". The movie cast also includes Morris Chestnut, Gabrielle Union, Terrence Howard, Queen Latifah, Faizon Love, Charlie Murphy and Rachel True.
She also was filming/is filming two other comedies, "Redrum" and "Universal Remote".

I thought that maybe they would use Monica as a "replacement" for Toni. Even though her and William may break up, maybe they will keep her on as Joans bougie(sp?) friend.
Dag, how many weddings has Joan been kicked out of?

WHY IS THIS STILL ON? Yes, I was screaming. Why is this supposedly being renewed for ANOTHER season?

Maybe it's just me but this show doesn't have it's same "zeal". Toni Childs used to get on my last nerve, but I'm wondering if that's what made the show sparkle.
I loved William, as well. He was just funny - and reminded me of the type of homie I'd love to have. However, he doesn't even seem to be funny anymore. Have they changed writers, or something?
Curious.
