Miami University (Ohio) - Zeta-Upsilon Zeta Colony Update
Brothers,
Good news to report. We are now an official colony!
Last Monday we had an impressive AM Ceremony conducted by a team of IHQ and Alumni Brothers. Twelve outstanding men accepted our AM pin! We will have three more AMs shortly. The Colony members have drawn up a list of an additional 25 men that they will attempt to recruit in the next few weeks.
This is an upperclass group of men. We have deferred rush that starts early next semester. They, with the help of IHQ, will mount a major recruitment drive at that time to add first year students to our roster!
Our Grand High Alpha, Ed Leonard, was with us as well as some parents, Greek Affairs staff, girl friends, and most of our Alumni Board and ZUZAA Board of Directors.
The AMs were presented with a large, handcrafted coat of arms as a gift from ZUZAA to our new Colony members.
We had a Reception after the ceremony and had a chance to start building a personal relationship with these fine young men.
Am I excited? You bet I am!
