What you are seeing ON camera is nothing compared to what goes on OFF camera.

These are guys who are taught to play through the pain in a lot of cases. If they want to have any chance of going to the next level, even a community college team, they're gonna have to suck it up.

When I was in HS, our brother school had the perennial state footbal championship team. These boys had parents who worked 2, sometimes 3 jobs just to send their sons to St. Louis to play football, get in to college and play football, and hope to make it in the pros. If you hear a Polynesian surname on Game Day, chances are they came from St. Louis, Kahuku, or one of the other powerhouse state teams.

While Hawai`i high school football isn't quite what y'all have in the South, HS football is God here as well.

To hijack the thread, my husband had a family from Hawai'i move to our hometown. He coached two of the sons. MAN, they rocked it. It was a completely different style of play. And, they tore it up. I have mad respect for them.

Someone on TWoP said Kristin joined Phi Mu. Not sure about the others.
