I may need moleskin, I'm already addicted. I see now how little I knew entering this process with my daughter. This is a great thing to do while I wait for those updates, it's all I can seem to think about!

sparkly, you don't actually have to wait to do one post per day, since ucf recruitment is over. how about speed it up a bit???

ok ok ok.. heres the rest of it...
so the second day at UCF is phylanthropy day. Some chapters use it to talk about financial obligations, others wait until the next day.
When i got my invite list that morning i was so nervous. The second day you can attend 7 partys and i had a full list.
so on phylanthropy day i said bye bye to..
1.grapes
2.apples
3.strawberries
the Chapter i adored the first day (rasberries!) were even more amazing the second day. They showed a video on their phylanthropy and it was something i was very interested in. I talked to the girl i had talked to on the first day but also to many many many other girls.
On phylanthropy day i also had a very good time with the Oranges. I met a few new girls and also talked to one of the girls i had my first day. They all seam so sweet and down to earth.
At this point i was really set on these two houses.
Since i have already gone through recruitment ill speed up the story a bit...
On video day we got to go back to 5 house. i went to..
1.Rasberries
2.oranges
3.tangerines
4.bananas
5.peaches
At rasberries i talked to the same girl as i had the 1st and 2nd day. we had so much in common and got along so well. i also met her best friend and she was a sweetheart too.
At oranges i talked to the same girl i had the 1st and second day too. we didnt have as much in common but she was so nice and the conversation flowed really well.
I enjoyed the Tangerines. more than the bananas and peaches. but nothing had really stood out to me yet. I wanted the "im home" feeling and i just wasnt getting it.
That night i decided to pref.
1.rasberries
2.oranges
3.tangerines
the next morning when i got my invite list back i was invited back to all three. Pref night is so different than all the other day. It is so much more serious. That day every house does something unique and special. i wont really elaborate what the houses did bc 1. i dont think i really should and 2.every girl should experience it first hand not knowing whats going to happen.
The tangerines did something really beautiful but i just didnt really get the reaction i was looking for. I liked the girls and could totally see myself as their friend but not their sister.
At the oranges i got a little teary eyed and really enjoyed what they did. At the rasberries, i cried. it was just so beautiful and you could really tell that what they had was a true sisterhood. They really cared about eachother, were eachothers best friends, bridesmaids, and sisters. The girl who prefed me was the same girl i had been talking to all week. i told her exactly how much i loved her chapter. i felt really comfortable talking to her. I told her about the other houses and how i liked the oranges too. But that i felt most at home at her chapter.
that night when i was ranking chapters i put..
1.rasberries
2.oranges
3.tangerines
that was a few days in one.. ill be back to tell you where i ended up!
