Here is the explanation I recieved from ADOP. Still, I'mma still need him to get it together and get the soap back up!
To All my Fans and Family of As the Sands Burn,
This is ADoP. I know that everyone misses ATSB. Honestly, I miss it too. I need to give my fans a little background on what is going on with the site.
The site went down on May 3rd because we decided to switch server companies. Since that time, it has taken over a month to get any kind of response from the company that had ATSB on its servers. But after FINALLY hearing something from them, they are informing me that they are having a hard time finding my files. What that means is, they may have lost ALL of my episodes for ALL 5 seasons of ATSB and the 2 seasons of Beyond.
Now, I do have most of the files. But my archives on my laptop are not very thorough for season 1 and 2. And I know that I do not have the BET.com episodes. So those would be totally gone.
So as much as you guys miss reading ATSB, I miss writing it even more.
To answer a few questions,
I cannot email the episode to fans. The episodes are written in a software called Dreamweaver, not Microsoft Word. If I emailed you a file, you would not be able to open it.
I cannot post a season finale because I have no where to post it to. The server company is having difficulty finding my domain, which means that I have no place to put my website.
I am still writing, currently I am doing The Saved and The Restless and my new book Jewels debuts next week Tuesday.
I hope this email clears up a few things. Please forward this to all fans of As the Sands Burn, Beyond the Burning Sands and The Saved and The Restless. I thank each of you for your kind words and support. If I can get this thing straightened out with the server company, then ATSB will be back. I hope I can work that out.
